David is a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with clients from wide age ranges and cultural backgrounds.He has extensive experience working with adolescents and their families and with families with children under 5. He has a BA in English Literature and further post graduate training in education, social work and psychotherapy.

He has studied with the Tavistock Institute for Human Relations, the Portman Clinic and the Institute of Family Therapy. He works privately, within the voluntary sector and the NHS with individuals, families and couples, integrating psychodynamic, psychoanalytic and systemic approaches. David also offers clinical assessments and brief therapy interventions through several employment schemes in the London area. He also practises for The Grove at our premises in Wimpole Street, central London, where he specialises in adolescent therapy as well as family and couple counselling.

David also has over 10 years of experience as a clinical supervisor.He has designed and taught courses introducing and raising an awareness of therapeutic communication skills to professional groups including teachers and GPs.He is a member of the Institute of Family Therapy, the Association for Family Therapy, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, a registered psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and an affiliate member of the British Psychological Society.
